As a poet entering the marketplace, I am interested in grant and scholarship opportunities that can be distributed for other's need.

1. Towson University Prize, Prize for Literature
Prize Amount: $1000
Deadline: June 15, 2016. Open to Maryland residents only.
2. Leeway Foundation, Transformation Awards
Prize Amount: $15,000
Deadline: May 15, 2016. Open to LGBT writers based in Greater Philadelphia area.
3. Claremont Graduate University, Tufts Poetry Awards
Prize Amount: $100,000
Deadline: July 1, 2016. Open to mid-career poets who will enter a one-week residency at Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, California.
